Slang, Maori culture, practical tips on special situations and everyday living, NZ food and much more – every week we ask you what you want to know.

Work Talk

o   Do you want to learn more English?

o   Would you like to know more about communicating in a New Zealand workplace?

o   Do you have a New Zealand Permanent Residency or a work permit?

Work Talk is a course for people from language backgrounds other than English who want to learn job search/workplace communication skills.

When: Course 3: Tue 8th June- Thurs 1st July

            Course 4: Mon 26th July- Thurs 19th August

Where: Waikato Migrant Resource Centre

Times: 9.00 am-12 noon .Monday –Thursday.

Cost: FREE to Permanent Residents

          $50.00 donation for those on Work Permit

This is a great opportunity to have a dialogue with the elected members of Hamilton City Council and to tell them your issues and concerns.  DON’T miss it.

Health and Fitness Dancing Exercise
Zumba classes:
Zumba is a programme for those people who desire to increase their fitness in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. It is also a great opportunity to meet new people from other cultures.
 
Where: Waikato Migrant Resource Centre,
When: Every Tuesday 12noon to 1pm
Fees: $5 for each session.
Open to all and no need to book.
Wear comfortable clothes, flat shoes, and bring a drink bottle.
